FC Barcelona Set to Play Inaugural Game at Partially Completed Camp Nou on Saturday

Barça revealed they will play at the still-under-construction Camp Nou on Saturday. They will welcome the Bilbao team in domestic competition over two years following their departure to allow renovations to start.

“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Attendance will be limited with 45,401 fans are permitted inside under the licence granted. When completed, the Camp Nou is due to hold almost 105,000 spectators, a rise from the old capacity. The club said recent additions comprise a new players’ tunnel along with upgraded changing facilities.

Preparatory Events

The club conducted a fan-accessible workout at the Camp Nou earlier this month. They mentioned approval is being pursued by UEFA for their upcoming Champions League fixture against Eintracht Frankfurt next month at the stadium. Their recent games have been held in the temporary ground.
